Strawberry Moon

The term “strawberry moon” is a direct reference to the strawberry harvest- and there is an old belief that picking strawberries under the light of the moon promotes a bountiful next season.  Since strawberries are often said to be the fruit of love and luck, June’s strawberry moon represents the fullness of life.

The strawberry moon will be in the grounded and ambitious sign of Capricorn, meaning this is a fantastic time to pay attention to your dreams.  More specifically, if you’ve been doing enough to bring them to fruition.  You can also expect rewards for any of the hard work you have been doing to better yourself and your life as a whole.  

This really drives home the point that although the moon may strengthen your resolve and inspire you to produce even more efforts, it is also a moment to be proud of yourself.  You may not be where you want to be just yet.  There’s nothing wrong with ensuring you get there, but you must not lose sight of how far you’ve come or how much you’ve grown.  Remember that although it is admirable to put your nose to the grindstone, you can also relax and rejuvenate when need be.  This is also essential to your overall success as a living creature.

Remember to make time in your life for the things that make you happy.  All work and no play is no way to thrive.  Give yourself not only a pat on the back, but a rest.  Summer can be an especially fruitful and rewarding time of year, and if you look inside yourself, you may just be stunned by how much you continue to accomplish.

On the night of the strawberry moon, you may consider going for a swim, hosting a bonfire, taking a walk illuminated by the sunset- or any number of activities.  But however you choose to spend the night, know it is an evening of positive and vibrant energy.  Energy you deserve to soak in and make the most of.
