Moldavite, a green tinted type of tektite, has been all the rage on popular social media platforms such as TikTok. People often make videos of themselves holding up their moldavite, and emotionally proclaiming that if you aren’t ready for the power held by this crystal- you must not buy it. Moldavite is said to eliminate all the things in your life that aren’t suited to your spiritual path. This includes relationships, careers, events.... anything that doesn’t align with your “higher purpose.” Even if you believed these aspects of your life were healthy for you.

This is the precise reason many urge you not to purchase this stone if you are not ready for your life to make a complete 180. Holding it for the first time often makes it’s power undeniable... it is said to radiate heat, flushing of the face, and a notable emotional release.

While moldavite does possess the immense capacity to heal oneself and place them on a grand path toward spiritual evolution, it is not without it’s consequences. Many say you should not use moldavite if you are in a negative headspace, if you are dealing with a physical illness, or if you have any attachments in your life that you are not content with being rid of. Because with this stone, there are no guarantees. For many who own moldavite, the changes it causes to their lives manifest and add up extremely quickly- and for some, this brings about positive energies. But for others, it can be absolutely devastating.

Whilst moldavite can deeply connect you to the secrets of the universe, it is worth noting there are other ways to accomplish this. Nevertheless, for those who are ready, it is true that moldavite can bring about positive changes to your life and set you on the path that was meant for you. But other times, Spirit and yourself have other plans. Remember to be safe, and that if you are in a space where you feel you need to get a handle on things yourself- this stone may not be for you.
